BRENHAM MAN DIES AFTER CRASH ON HIGHWAY 105
A Brenham man was killed after a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning on Highway 105 in Washington County.
DPS Sergeant Justin Ruiz reports that around 9:15 a.m., a 2020 Hyundai Elantra was traveling northbound on FM 2193 and attempted to turn westbound onto Highway 105 from a stop intersection. The Hyundai was then struck by a 2003 Ford F-150 driving eastbound on Highway 105.
The driver of the Hyundai, 47-year-old Stephen Vance, was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Brenham, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Ford was not injured.
DPS says the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
