KWHI SET TO HOST HALLOWEEN PARTY
KWHI will give lots of great prizes away tonight (Tuesday) during its annual on-the-radio Halloween Party.
From 7 to 9 p.m., special spooky guest DJs will call area families to give them treats, no tricks. The Halloween Party on AM 1280 and FM 101.7 has been hosted for decades as a way to encourage children to trick-or-treat safely and get home at an early hour.
Some of the prizes this year will include 4M Table Top Robot and a Smartwatch with MP3 Player from Kippers Kountry Store, an Electronic 9 Drum Roll Up Practice Pad from Deep in the Heart Farms, a Wireless Gaming Noise-Cancelling Headset from Dynamic Drains Plumbing & Drains Experts, and the grand prizes of girl’s and boy’s bicycles from Mr. Windshield and Nicholson Lake Road RV Park.
Prizes will also be awarded by Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance, eXp Realty DeeAnna Marek, Citizens State Bank, Philips Veterinary Hospital, Brenham Ace Hardware, Glasco Stone & Landscape, Altman Dentistry, Network Finance, Bilski Water Well Service, Cedar Frame – Eric Benitez, LJ’s BBQ, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, Performance Health & Wellness, Sonic Drive-In, Brenham Family Dental, Pool Tex, Bush’s Chicken, Hermann Furniture, Pizza Hut, The Barnhill House Toys & Books, Horseshoe Junction, La Morelos Meat Market, T3, Mariachi’s Mexican Restaurant, Brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Whataburger, Flamingo Ranch Boutique, Yumm! The Halloween Party cards also contain valuable coupons for Whataburger, Horseshoe Junction, Buff City Soap, Mr. Gatti’s Pizza and Bush’s Chicken.
Families have until 5 p.m. today to submit their cards to KWHI, either in person at the KWHI offices or by mail.
