WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR 20TH ANNUAL SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA
The votes are in, and the winners of Main Street Brenham’s 20th Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza have been announced.
Lutkenhaus, named the Best Overall entry in Main
Street Brenham's 2023 Scarecrow Extravaganza.
Named the Best Overall Scarecrow, winning $300 from KTEX/KWHI, is “Let the Good Times Roll” by Ryan, Mary and Lucy Lutkenhaus.
The Judges’ Choice and the winner of $200 from Must Be Heaven is “The Golden Girls” by Walberg Patterson Law.
The scarecrow with the Best Fall Theme, winning $125 from Scrubs ‘N Stuff Boutique, is “Just Another Day” by Citadel Christian School.
The Most Creative entry, receiving $125 from The Pomegranate, is “I Always Feel Like Someone is Watching Me” by Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance.
The Most Educational scarecrow, winning $125 from Tres Chic Boutique, is “Reading is Fun” by Alton First Grade.
The Silliest scarecrow is “Reading’ with RoseHAY” by Readin’ with Rosé, winning $125 from The Book Nook.

The Cutest scarecrow and the winner of $125 from The Canyon Chick is “Molly & Dolly” by Center Stage Dance.
Center Stage Dance also won the $125 prize from Floyd’s Lounge for the Best Selfie with a scarecrow.
The Honorable Mention recipient was “Willie Wonka” by Jet Set Chocolates, winning $100 from Hermann Furniture.
Scarecrows must be picked up from their location by 5 p.m. on Saturday. Photos will be taken with the winners.
