TWO ARRESTED BY BRENHAM POLICE ON MONDAY

Two people were arrested by Brenham police in separate incidents Monday night.

Around 9:45 p.m., Officer Grayson Marburger stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of College Avenue.  A probable cause search led to the discovery of a vape pen containing THC oil.  One of the passengers in the vehicle, identified as 18-year-old Keri Dunham, was found to be in possession of the THC vape pen.  She was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked in for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Just before 10 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a disturbance.  Initial investigation revealed that 19-year-old Jason Heard, Jr. of Brenham was in possession of marijuana and had an active warrant for his arrest.  Heard was placed into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz., his active warrant for No Driver’s License out of the City of Brenham Municipal Court, and Resisting Arrest/Search/Transport.  He was then transported to the Washington County Jail.
