THREE ARRESTED TUESDAY BY BRENHAM POLICE

  

Three people were arrested on various charges by Brenham police on Tuesday.

Around 10:15 a.m., Officer Garrett Downs stopped a vehicle in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West for an equipment violation.  Investigation revealed the driver, 33-year-old Kara Tiffany Myvett of Humble, was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Myvett was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana 2oz. and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  She was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Around 7:15 p.m., Officer Stephen Mosley stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of East Academy Street.  The driver, 30-year-old Travis Odell Cooper of Brenham, was found to have an active warrant for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.  Cooper was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.

Just after 10:45 p.m., Officer Stetson Whitley stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of Highway 290 East.  Marijuana and THC oil were located during a probable cause search.  The driver, 43-year-old Esteban Guevara of Houston, was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
