LOCAL CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE HOSTING LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON
Washington County’s elected state officials will provide a recap of the 88th Texas Legislative Session at an upcoming forum in Brenham.
The Washington County, Chappell Hill, and Burton Chambers of Commerce have organized a “Legislative Wrap Up” luncheon.
The luncheon, which will feature State Senator Lois Kolkhorst and State Representative Kyle Kacal, is being held tomorrow (Thursday) from 11:30am-1pm in the Janis Sneed Banquet Room of the Blinn College Student Center.
Kolkhorst and Kacal will provide an overview of this year’s legislative business and discuss important issues facing the senate and region.
They are also scheduled to take questions from the audience after speaking.
The deadline to purchase individual tickets or tables of eight has already passed.
