CUB BASKETBALL WINS HOME OPENER OVER LA GRANGE 62-36
The Brenham Cub Basketball Team is off to a 2-0 start on the young season after picking up a 62-36 win over the La Grange Leopards in their home opener this past Saturday.
Issac Powell led the Cubs with 21 points, eight rebounds, and five steals.
Elijah Ferguson scored 18 points, and added three steals.
Jayden Hebert finished with 10 points, while Kobe Mathis led the team in rebounds with nine.
Next up, the Cubs will host the Caldwell Hornets tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1pm at the Brenham High School Gym.
