WALLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING A HORSE KILLING

  

The Waller County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the killing of a horse that was discovered on Thanksgiving morning.

A citizen called in around 8:30am yesterday (Thursday) to report a dead horse that was found on Jones Road just south of Whitt Loggins Road

According to a press release from Sheriff Troy Guidry, the horse had been shot in the head, it legs were tied with a rope, and it was then dragged onto the side of the road.

The Livestock Division of the Sheriff’s Office is fully investigating this case.

If anyone saw any type of truck pulling a trailer or horse trailer around that time, or if you have any additional information on the person or persons who committed this crime, please call the Livestock Division at 979-826-8282 Option 1.

  1. So very cruel. Where has human decency gone these days??? This was really horrible and I hope the killer soon gets caught and pays the consequence.
