As a float builder and participant for this Christmas Parade the past 5 years I would like to say thank you to all involved in putting this on. I also help plan events and know how difficult it is to make a huge event go smoothly. You cannot please everyone all the time but this is one of the best Christmas Parades around. I highly encourage anyone who feels changes are needed to the parade to get involved, build a float or volunteer to help. The joy you receive when your float, or car goes through the crowd at the parade is all the reward you need. Hearing the claps, seeing the smiles and laughter on the faces of the families is an amazing feeling! Because there is a theme each year to this parade you will have a lot of the same type of entries, but they all have a different creative twist. I look forward to this parade every year!
