BLUEBONNET ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE OFFERING SCHOLARSHIPS

  

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative is offering area high school students multiple opportunities for college scholarships.

Students can go to their website at bluebonnet.coop/scholarships to sign up for their 2024 “Scholarships of Excellence” program.

Bluebonnet Electric is offering $2,500 scholarships for students planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

They are also offering $2,500 scholarships for students planning to pursue a trade or technical certificate.

The deadline to sign up is March 8.

They are also looking for high school juniors and seniors to sign up for their “Government in Action” Youth Tour.

The tour of Washington D.C., which will be from June 16-23,  is open to two students in the Bluebonnet Electric Service area.

Those chosen for the tour will also receive $1,000 scholarships.

The deadline to sign up for the tour is January 19.
