After a rough day, the Brenham Cubette Basketball Team bounced back to win two games on Friday at the M.T. Rice Tournament, which is being hosted by Waco Midway High School.

The Cubettes beat Midlothian in the first game 45-14, and then defeated Mayde Creek 36-29. 

They are back in action today (Saturday) against Clemens High School.

After that, Brenham returns home to continue district play against Lake Creek on Tuesday at at 6:30pm. KWHI will have live coverage from the Brenham High School Gym beginning with the pregame at 6:15pm.
