BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL TO REVIEW CITY MANAGER APPLICANTS

The Brenham City Council will gather in executive session on Monday to review applications submitted for the city manager position.

This will be the council’s first meeting to discuss the pool of applicants for the position, which is coming open in March with the pending retirement of Carolyn Miller, and determine which candidates qualify for interviews.

No formal action is scheduled to be taken.

The city began its recruitment process for a new city manager in December.  A press release from the city at the time stated the recruitment would be done in-house.

The council will meet Monday at 9 a.m. in Conference Room 2A at Brenham City Hall.
