BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL CAR CRASH

A fatal car crash occurred in Brenham early Saturday morning.

The Brenham Police report that early Saturday morning at 7:20, Officers responded to a report of a one vehicle crash in the 2400 block of FM 577 in Brenham. The driver, Cedrick Rogers, 37 of Chappell Hill, was found deceased. There were no other passengers in the vehicle. Initial investigation revealed the vehicle, a white 2008 Cadillac passenger car, was traveling North bound in the 2400 block of FM 577 where it lost control leaving the roadway and striking a tree. The cause of the crash is under investigation and it is believed speed played a factor in the crash.  

The crash is believed to have occurred around 3:00 a.m. and is currently under investigation by the department’s Accident Reconstruction Team and Criminal Investigation Division. If anyone has information to contact Detective Conner Caskey at 979.337.7378.

    1. I met this young man a little over a year ago through my friend Antionette in Giddings. He had a heart of gold and he will truly be missed. FLY HIGH MY FRIEND FLY HIGH. My condolences to his family and his son.
