CITY OF BRENHAM ISSUES $2.74 MILLION IN BUILDING PERMITS IN JANUARY
New home construction made up a majority of the City of Brenham’s building permits to open up 2024.

Fourteen new homes were permitted in January for $2,336,635.
The largest individual permit this past month went to Willmark Homes LLC for $350,000 for a home on Spinn Street.
The largest non-residential permit was issued to Calvary Baptist Church for $140,000 to build a 50’ x 75’ open air pavilion at its location at 1100 Niebuhr Street.
In total, the city issued 24 permits in January for $2,745,301.
That amount is just over double the $1,338,936 on 22 permits taken out in January 2023.
