KAYLYN RODRIGUEZ SIGNS WITH SAGU

Brenham Cubette First Baseman Kaylyn Rodriguez will be continuing her softball career.

A signing ceremony was held for Rodriguez on Tuesday where she committed to Southwest Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas.

Rodriguez is a senior this year, and is in her third season as a starter for the Brenham Cubettes.

Last season, Rodriguez finished with a .412 batting average to go along with 46 RBIs and 39 runs scored.

She was named First Team All-District, Academic All District, and First Team All Brazos Valley.

During her sophomore year, Rodriguez was an Honorable Mention All District selection and was named Academic All District.

She is also a two time winner of the Ed Pothul Coach's Award that is given out every year during the Brenham High School's Annual Sports Banquet.
