CUBETTE GOLF FINISHES 3RD AT BRENHAM TOURNAMENT
The Brenham Cubette Golf Team hosted the Brenham Tournament earlier today (Monday) at the Brenham Country Club. It was their final event before the District Tournament. Against a field of mostly 6A teams, the Cubettes finished third overall with a team score of 366.
Katy Seven Lakes was the overall winner with a 323, followed by Katy Jordan with a 325. Meanwhile, Tomball Memorial finished in fourth place, just two strokes behind Brenham with a 368. The Woodlands-College Park rounded out the top five with a 370.
A total of 14 teams and 78 golfers competed.
Elle Astete of Katy Seven Lakes was the top overall individual winner with a 72. Abbi Nelson of Katy Jordan was second with a 74.
Adie Bogan (Sr.) was the top overall finisher for Brenham with an 87, which was good for 9th place.
Sofia Workman (So.) finished tied for 12th with an 88.
Other Brenham scores included:
Addison Schramme (Sr.) with a 93, Kaylin Bogan (So.) with a 98, Codi Clark (So.) with a 101, Lindsey Anderson (Jr.) with a 117, and Georgia Carroll (Fr.) with a 129.
The District Tournament will be held April 3-4 at the Panorama Golf Club in Conroe.
