The Washington County Horticulture Committee has extra garden vegetables available for its Spring Tomato and Pepper Plant Sale.
A variety of pepper plants, along with cucumber, squash, basil, cilantro, dill and parsley will be sold until 5:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Washington County Expo Commercial Exhibit Building. Supply is limited.
All plants are sold for $2.50 per four-pack.
Proceeds from the sale benefit the Horticulture Committee’s Scholarship Program, which awards scholarships to local graduating seniors who are pursuing a degree in agriculture.
Guests can enter the Expo facility off of Blue Bell Road and exit onto Old Independence Road.
