CUBS FALL TO A&M CONSOLIDATED 6-1

The Brenham Cub Baseball Team fell to A&M Consolidated 6-1 last (Friday) night in College Station.

The Cubs got on the scoreboard first. Owen Finke doubled, and then came around to score on an RBI single by Drake Bentke.

After sending them three up, and three down in the first inning, the Tigers tagged Dawson Keim for five runs in the bottom of the second.

Braydon Goss came on in relief, and allowed only one run over the final 4 2/3 innings .

Brenham managed eight hits in the game, but could only put one run on the board.

The Cubs drop to 0-4 in district. They will face Montgomery on the road this Tuesday at 7pm.
