CUB COMPANY PRESENTS “CHICAGO”

The Brenham High School Drama Department selected a very challenging play as their Spring musical this year.  Chicago was selected as the play.  Chicago takes place in the Roaring Twenties, and aspiring chorus girl Roxie Hart and fading vaudeville star Velma Kelly each face trial for murder. The two women compete for the services of shady lawyer Billy Flynn, who promises to make them media celebrities and win them acquittals.

The musical, which features a full orchestra, will be performed beginning tonight in the black box theatre at Brenham High School. The musical will be performed at 7:00 PM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and at 2:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.  Tickets are $8 each and can be purchased at the door or you can purchase the ahead of time by going to cubcompany.booktix.net.  Seating is limited in the Black Box Theatre.
