EARLY VOTING CONCLUDES TUESDAY FOR BURTON SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
Today (Tuesday) is the last day of early voting for the Burton ISD school board election.
Monday saw the highest single-day turnout of this election thus far. According to Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, 21 people voted on Monday, bringing the six-day voting total to 70.
The May 2023 trustee election had 110 early voters through six days, while the May 2021 election drew 49.
The Washington County Courthouse Annex will be open today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Election Day is Saturday. Polls will be open at the Burton Community Center from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
