BRENHAM MAIFEST SENIOR CORONATION FRIDAY
The 134th Brenham Maifest will hold the first of two royalty coronation ceremonies tonight (Friday).

The Senior Coronation will begin at 7 p.m. at Fireman’s Park. Queen Ashley Ribbon Jones and King Lucas Cash Flynn will reign over the court of “Viva Las Maifest”.
The carnival opens at 5 p.m. Tonight’s music lineup includes The Czechaholics from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and the Nite Moves Band from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
The Junior Coronation will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 6:30 p.m. Queen Caroline Adele Kenjura and King Tyler Henry Hopkins will reign over the court of “Up, Up and Away: Across the USA”.
A clear bag policy is in place for both coronation ceremonies.
Festivities tomorrow get underway with the parade through downtown Brenham at 10:30 a.m. KWHI will broadcast the parade live starting at 10 a.m. and will also livestream it on Facebook, sponsored by Mr. Gatti’s Pizza in Brenham.
Afterwards, the festival grounds and carnival will open for music, dancing, beer tasting and games. Entertainment will be provided by Isaak Klaus and the Lederhosen Junkies from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Das ist Lustig from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., Alli & the Polka Dots from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., and the Brown Sugar Band from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
