BRENHAM FFA MEMBERS PRESENTED AWARDS AT CEREMONY

  

Local FFA members were acknowledged Wednesday night during the annual Brenham FFA awards ceremony at Cowboy Church of Brenham.

Members reflected on their time in the organization and were presented with scholarships and awards in recognition of their accolades.

The Top Hand Award was presented to Chasidy Nowicki.  Nowicki also won the Top Fundraiser Award.

The Greenhand Top Hand Award went to Tyler Gajeske.

Gage Kmiec was named Outstanding Member of the Year.

The Star Agribusiness Award was given to Corbin Janner.

Ella Scheel received the Star Greenhand Award.

The recipient of the Star Chapter Farmer Award was Katie Allen.

Madeline Pierce was named the Star Lone Star FFA Member.

Madison Moran was the recipient of the Curtis Fuchs Leadership Scholarship.

The Robert Little Memorial Scholarship was presented to Kaylin Jacobs.

Brenham FFA Alumni Scholarships went to Laci Strack, Kaylan Curl, Chasidy Nowicki, Kaylin Rodriguez, William Schomburg, Gage Kmiec, Trenton Stewart and Katie Seeker.

Cole Dismukes received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

American FFA degrees were presented to Shelby Prazak and Keely Mikolajchak. 

The 2024-25 FFA officer team was also announced.  Officers include Cullen Halfmann, President; Mackenzie Tiemann, Vice President; Madeline Pierce, Secretary; Morgan Westerfeld, Treasurer; Calvin Wunderlich, Reporter; Melanie Martin, Sentinel; Addy Lange, Student Advisor; Gavin Wright, Chaplain; Katie Allen, Historian; Caleb Landry, Parliamentarian.
