ASCHENBECK IS ONE OF SEVEN AGGIES TO RECEIVE ALL SEC HONORS

The SEC released their list of All-Conference Baseball honors on Monday. Evan Aschenbeck of Brenham was one of four Aggie baseball players to make the All SEC First Team.

Aschenbeck is just the second relief pitcher in Texas A&M history to receive All SEC honors. So far this season, he is 5-1 with a 1.80 ERA and seven saves in 24 appearances.

Aschenbeck has struck out 64 batters in 55 innings. He has also worked multiple innings in 21 out of 24 appearances. On a side note, in 16 of his 24 outings, he did not allow a run.

Aschenbeck is a former Brenham Cub and a former Blinn Buccaneer. He is a senior this year for A&M.
