MEMORIAL OAKS CHAPEL CELEBRATING 50TH ANNIVERSARY WEDNESDAY
Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham is marking 50 years of serving the community.
A celebration and ribbon cutting will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) at the funeral home, 1306 West Main Street. The ribbon cutting with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce will be held at 4 p.m., with the celebration following from 6 to 9 p.m.
The funeral home was established in 1974 by Clarence Gerke and Wayne Giese, who will share remarks at the event.
