The Snook ISD Board of Trustees have unanimously approved the hiring of Holly Giesenschlag to be the district's new Chief Financial Officer.

Giesenschlag has worked as an auditor in both the private and public sectors, including higher education and state agencies.

Giesenschlag’s current role involves financial, compliance, and operational audits throughout the System’s universities and agencies.

Prior to her role at Texas A&M, Holly was a Senior Auditor at BKD, LLP in San Antonio, focusing on financial auditing and strategic analysis.

With a solid background in accounting and finance, Giesenschlag is a Certified Public Accountant, having completed the Professional Program for Accounting at Texas A&M in 2007.

Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance.

Giesenschlag and her husband Wade are the parents of three children, all of whom currently attend Snook ISD.

She also volunteers for various school organizations, including PTO and Athletic Boosters.

Snook ISD Superintendent Dr. Megan Pape stated that they are ecstatic to have Mrs. Giesenschlag join their team, because she brings an incredible background and skillset that will move their district forward in the area of School Finance.

Giesenschlag is set to start with Snook ISD at the beginning of June.
