Thirty-one Burton High School seniors are bringing an end to one chapter of their life and starting a new one.

Family and friends gathered at the Oliver Whitener/Roy Winkler Pavilion to watch the Class of 2024 receive their diplomas at Burton High School’s graduation ceremony.

The valedictorian and salutatorian, Zane Aschenbeck and Noelia Casas, spoke to their class to offer words of inspiration.  Aschenbeck, who completed high school with a grade point average of 3.99, said important decisions are made every day, and now it is time for one of the most important ones they will ever face.

Casas, who finished with a GPA of 3.92, told the class to remember to go on adventures and live a life without regrets.  

Thirteen of the 31 seniors graduated with honors.
