THE GRAND OL’ AMERICANA SHOW COMING TO THE BARNHILL CENTER JUNE 29
An all-American variety show will celebrate Independence Day at The Barnhill Center.
The Grand Ol’ Americana Show will appear onstage on Saturday, June 29th at 7 p.m. The theatrical production emulates an old-timey live radio broadcast over the 1776 AM LBRT “Liberty” Radio airwaves, showcasing the music, comedy and culture that define the American spirit.
The Barnhill Center producer Sharon Brass says the show is “the perfect nostalgic complement to your July Fourth holiday festivities” and “a tribute to summertime in America.”
The show is produced by Texan Will Hearn, whose Grand Ol’ Christmas Show sold out at The Barnhill Center in 2022. Both the Americana and Christmas performances are annual favorites at other Texas music theaters.
Hearn is in the starring role along with the Americana standout group, Blue Water Highway. They are accompanied by The Liberty Radio Orchestra & Gospel Singers, and the Dirty River Jazz Band. The show will also feature the antics of Dalton Flake and sketch comedy from Grand Ol’ characters like The 3 Tenors, The Floaters and The Grand Ol’ Cowboys.
