BLINN BOARD TO VOTE ON 2024-25 BUDGET

The Blinn Board of Trustees will proceed with setting the budget for the next academic year when it meets on Tuesday.

Trustees will vote to adopt the budget and stipends for the 2024-25 Fiscal Year.  The board set the upcoming year’s tuition and fee rates during its meeting in April.

The current budget for the 2023-24 Fiscal Year was set at $126.5 million upon its adoption last summer, which was a 4 percent increase over the year prior.

Other business for the board will include a series of monthly reports, including administrative and financial updates, a graduation report, and an enrollment report for the 2024 spring semester, May minimester and first summer session.

The only other regular session action item is to allow the Blinn College administration to seek qualifications for engineering services related to central plant upgrades on the Brenham Campus.

The board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the third-floor board room of the Brenham Campus Administration Building.  The meeting will be livestreamed on the Blinn College YouTube channel.
