THE BARNHILL CENTER TO HOST KARL ROVE FOR SPEAKER SERIES LUNCHEON THURSDAY
Tickets remain on sale through tomorrow (Tuesday) for the second installment in The Barnhill Center’s inaugural Speaker Series.
After opening with former Texas Governor Rick Perry on May 21st, the next luncheon this Thursday will host nationally known political commentator and consultant Karl Rove. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. at Morriss Hall.
Rove was a key advisor to Texas Governor George W. Bush, and later served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor in President Bush’s administration. He has remained a national voice in the Republican Party.
Other Speaker Series events scheduled this year are Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp on September 10th, and Texas Historical Commission Chairman John Nau on November 22nd.
Individual tickets are $50, while reserved tables seating eight people are $500. Seating is limited, and tickets are only available in advance.
