ASCHENBECK WINS THE OLSEN AWARD FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW

Following his outstanding senior season, former Brenham Cub and Blinn Buccaneer P Evan Aschenbeck has been won the Texas A&M's C.E. "Pat" Olsen Award.

The Olsen Award is a team award that goes to the Outstanding Pitcher of the Year.

This past season, as a senior, Aschenbeck went 6-1 with 10 saves and 1.78 ERA. He had 87 strikeouts compared to just 12 walks in 75 and 2/3 innings pitched.

Of those outings, 28 of them were for multiple innings, and 21 of them were for scoreless innings.
