6TH ANNUAL BRAZOS VALLEY GIVES SET FOR OCT. 15; NONPROFIT REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

  

The date is now set for the 6^th Annual Brazos Valley Gives.

The fundraiser, benefitting nonprofit organizations throughout the seven-county region of the Brazos Valley, will take place on Tuesday, October 15^th.  The date punctuates a month-long effort of community giving.

Registration is now open for all 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the Brazos Valley to participate in the event.  The deadline to sign up is Friday, September 6^th, but nonprofits that register by noon on Friday, August 2^nd will be eligible for a $500 Early Bird registration prize.

Last year, donors raised $1,454,920 and donated 8,754 volunteer hours to support 168 nonprofits.  The goal this year is $1.5 million and 170 participating nonprofits.

Over the past five years, the Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley’s annual event has raised $4,723,708 for nonprofits, including over $213,000 in sponsorship prizes.
