POLICE RESPOND TO SUSPICIOUS PERSON CALL

  

Brenham Police were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person early Sunday morning.

They report that early Sunday morning at 2:45, Officers were dispatched to 2000 block of FM 389 in reference to a suspicious person. Officers made contact with a subject, Giannie Alessan Contreras, 32 of Brenham, who had two active warrants in Washington County for Driving While Intoxicated and No Driver’s License issued out of Washington County. Contreras was taken into custody and released to jail staff without incident.

Then Sunday afternoon at 2:00, Officers served a warrant in the 2000 block of FM 389 which resulted in the arrest of Monica Oralia Salgado, 50 of Brenham, being taken into custody on a warrant for Theft of Property between $2500 and $30,000 issued out of the 21st District Court Washington County.
