PRESIDENT OF CZECH REPUBLIC TO VISIT LA GRANGE
La Grange will welcome the Czech Republic’s head of state in a historic visit to Texas.

Czech Republic President Petr Pavel and First Lady Eva Pavlová will make a public appearance in La Grange on Saturday, July 13th as they visit the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center (TCHCC).
The public is invited to attend the welcoming ceremony in front of the TCHCC’s main building from 9 to 11 a.m. to hear the president speak.
This will be the first time a president of the Czech Republic has come to visit La Grange, and the first time the city has welcomed any head of state since U.S. President Lyndon Johnson in 1969.
