BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. RESPONDS TO CRASH SUNDAY, ALARM CALL EARLY MONDAY

The Brenham Fire Department assisted at the scene of an accident that resulted in injury on Sunday.

Around 11:30 a.m., the department was dispatched to the 2100 block of FM 2935 for a report of a transportation incident.  Units arrived on location to find a single-vehicle accident with one person injured.  They provided first aid to the patient until EMS made it to the scene to provide further treatment.  Firefighters found no fluids leaking and returned to service once the wrecker removed the vehicle.

The department also went out to a call early this (Monday) morning, responding just before 2:30 a.m. to P I Components Corp., 1951 Highway 290 West, for an alarm sounding.  BFD members found nothing showing from the exterior of the building.  Upon walking through the building, they found no signs or smoke or fire, so they cleared the scene.
