BRENHAM PD ARRESTS TWO FOR NARCOTICS POSSESSION AND NOT SECURING CHILDREN IN BACK SEAT; ANOTHER BOOKED ON WARRANTS

Two Houston residents were arrested on Friday after Brenham police say they had narcotics and marijuana and did not have children in the back seat secured.

Police report that just after 11:45 p.m., Officer Nicolas Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Highway 290 West.  Investigation revealed the driver and front-seat passenger were smoking marijuana while driving and with four children unsecured in the rear seats.  Additionally, narcotics were located inside the vehicle.

31-year-old Trevon Latrell Andres and 31-year-old Erika Janee Erwin were placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz., and Abandoning or Endangering a Child – Criminal Negligence.  They were booked into the Washington County Jail.

Sunday Rayshell White

Brenham police also reported an arrest Friday morning, after responding to a minor crash at 11:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Highway 290 West. 

One of the people involved, 34-year-old Sunday Rayshell White of Brenham, was placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail for an active warrant out of Harris County for Failure to Stop and Give Information for an Accident, Damage to Vehicle Greater than $200.  White also had a local warrant issued out of Brenham Municipal Court for No Insurance.
