BRENHAM POLICE REPORT THREE ARRESTS SATURDAY

  

The Brenham Police Department made three arrests on Saturday.

Just before 6:45 p.m., Officer Nicolas Conforti made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Highway 36 North.  Police say the driver, 28-year-old Bryan Deshawn Parker of Killeen, was operating a vehicle during a period that his driver’s license was under suspension.  He was placed under arrest for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced and booked into the Washington County Jail.

Approaching 9 p.m., Sergeant Ashley Burns stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1800 block of South Blue Bell Road.  Investigation revealed the driver, 49-year-old Matthew Stewart Daake of Brenham, was operating a vehicle while intoxicated.  He was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Around 11:30 p.m., Officer Conforti stopped a vehicle in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West.  Police discovered marijuana and edibles containing psilocybin in the vehicle.  Investigation led to the arrest of the passenger, 26-year-old Tatiana Alexandria Rojas of Sugar Land, for Possession of Marijuana under 2oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  She was transported to the Washington County Jail, where police say she was found to have contraband hidden on her person.  She was additionally charged with Prohibited Substance or Item in a Correctional Facility.
