BRENHAM ISD HOSTING 149TH DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI CELEBRATION

  

Four honorees are going to be recognized at Brenham ISD’s 149th Distinguished Alumni Celebration.

The celebration will take place on Friday, September 6, from 11:30am-1pm at the Blinn College Student Center Banquet Room.

This year’s distinguished honorees are:

  • Meg Dippel-Voelter (Class of 1992), litigation and regulatory law attorney, adjunct professor at Baylor Law School, teacher and coach at Regents School of Austin, former member of Regents School of Austin Board of Directors.
  • Kenneth Mueller (Class of 1966), former State American Legion Commander, past Washington County Veterans Service Officer, and an original member of the Brenham Honor Guard.
  • Charles Schubert (Class of 1968), owner at Schubert Sheet Metal, Schubert Firearms and Schubert Ranch, and senior warden at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Brenham.
  • Michael Watts (Class of 1987), longtime educator, Cub Football Hall of Honor inductee, past principal at Brenham Junior High School and current principal at Brenham High School.

The Brenham Distinguished Alumni Celebration recognizes former students who have excelled in their professional careers and made significant contributions to their communities.

Superintendent Clay Gillentine said that Brenham ISD is incredibly proud of their distinguished alumni and their accomplishments.

He added, “Their dedication and success serve as an inspiration to our current students and a testament to the quality of education provided by Brenham ISD.”

The celebration will include a luncheon, presentations, and the opportunity for attendees to connect with the honorees, and fellow alumni.
