CALIFORNIA SENDS BURLESON COUNTY FUGITIVE BACK TO TEXAS

A Caldwell man that has been a fugitive since 2015 has been brought back to Texas to stand trial.

34-year-old Trevor Noel Reynoso was flown by DPS plane from California to Texas, where he faces charges of Possession of Child Pornography and Tampering with Evidence.

Reynoso was arrested for a 2013 charge of Tampering with Evidence and a 2015 charge of Burglary of a Habitation.

According to Chief Deputy Bill Rios, while out on bond, Reynoso fled to Mexico first, and then later went to California.

An investigation by the Texas Attorney General’s Office led to Reynoso being charged with nine counts of Possession of Child Pornography and an additional charge of Tampering with Evidence after he allegedly asked someone to destroy his tablet.

While in California, Reynoso was arrested for Lewd Conduct with an Underage Victim in 2021. He was later sentenced to 16 years in prison.

The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office waited for disposition of the case in California before seeking extradition.

Reynoso is in the Burleson County Jail where his bond was set at $925,000, and there is also a hold on him from California.

Chief Deputy Rios told the Burleson County Tribune that there have been discussions between officials in both states of letting Reynoso finish his sentences in Texas.
