HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED EARLY TUESDAY

  

A Houston man was arrested early Tuesday on drug charges.

Brenham Police report that early Tuesday morning at 2:55, Officer Grayson Marburger observed a vehicle stalled in the lane of travel in the 2000 block of Highway 36 North. Contact was made with the driver, Jerry Restrepo, 20 of Houston.  K-9 assistance was requested and Washington County Constable Rolling responded to the scene. The K-9 alerted on the vehicle at which time a probable cause search was conducted. Suspected narcotics were located inside the vehicle and Restrepo was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was transported to the jail and booked in without incident.
