Bob Pack, who lives in Burleson County, served as an extra and helped consult with actors to make the storm-chasing scenes more realistic.  His truck that collects weather data was also in the film.

“Twisters” officially released last Friday across the United States, starring Daisy Edgar Jones and Glenn Powell as storm chasers in Oklahoma.  The movie enjoyed the third-biggest box office opening of the year at $80.5 million and now has the best opening for a natural disaster movie.

According to Pack’s IMDb page, he has served as a freelance videographer, content creator and producer in multiple markets across Texas and the nation.  He has appeared in several documentaries and programs related to weather and meteorology.

Pack will be at Westwood Cinema 6 in Brenham tomorrow (Friday) between 7 and 8 p.m. to meet with moviegoers around the theatre’s nighttime showing of the film.
