BACK TO SCHOOL EVENTS COMING UP FOR BRENHAM, BURTON ISDs

  

Brenham and Burton ISD schools have several events coming up as families get ready for classes to resume in two weeks.

Brenham ISD’s Meet the Teacher gatherings are scheduled on August 7^th and 8^th across six of its seven campuses.  Burton ISD’s campuses will host Meet the Teacher on Monday, August 12^th from 4 to 6 p.m., leading into Meet the Panthers at 6 p.m.

The back-to-school events for Brenham ISD start on Monday, August 5^th with schedule pick-up at Brenham Middle School from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

That will be followed by two Meet the Teacher events on Wednesday, August 7^th.  Brenham Middle School’s event runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., while Brenham Junior High School’s will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.

On Thursday, August 8^th, Brenham High School will have schedule and parking pass pick-up for seniors from 8:30 to 10 a.m., followed by 10^th and 11^th graders from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

That afternoon, the Early Childhood Learning Center, Alton Elementary School, Brenham Elementary School and Krause Elementary School will all be open for Meet the Teacher from 4 to 6 p.m.  In addition, Brenham High School will have Fish Camp from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for all incoming freshmen or students that are new to Brenham High School.  The high school will host a Meet the Teacher after the beginning of school.

Brenham’s Meet the Cubs event is set for Wednesday, August 21^st at 7 p.m. at Cub Stadium.

The first day of classes is Tuesday, August 13^th for Brenham ISD and Wednesday, August 14^th for Burton ISD.
