Luke Cochran was recognized last month during the TCMA’s annual meeting and awards dinner, as well as at Thursday’s Brenham City Council meeting.  Cochran works alongside Brenham City Attorney Cary Bovey as a partner at Bovey & Cochran, PLLC.

Though Cochran was unable to attend the council meeting, Bovey and Brenham Municipal Court Administrator Tiwanna Brown shared comments on his service to the city and his worthiness of the award.  Brown lauded the work Cochran has done in the municipal court setting.

Bovey called Cochran’s award “well deserved.”

Bovey said Cochran wanted to share that it is a “joy and honor” to serve in this position and that the credit also goes to Brown and her court staff.

City Manager Carolyn Miller said the City of Brenham is proud of Cochran and what he does in service for the city.  Mayor Atwood Kenjura said, “We’re lucky to have someone like that.”
