BRENHAM HERITAGE MUSEUM TO HOST ‘SPEAKEASY GALA’ NOV. 2

The Brenham Heritage Museum invites the public to join them for their Fall Fundraising event.

The Museum will be re-visiting the Prohibition Era, when they transform the historic 1914 United States Post Office building in Downtown Brenham into an undercover speakeasy.

The event, which is being held on November 2, will feature live music from the Texas Gypsies, a “gaming room” for card and casino games, heavy hors d’oeuvres, period and specialty cocktails, a silent and live auction, and more.

Board President Phillip Van Dorf said that they are very excited about this first ever speakeasy event at the Museum.

He added that they are working to make this new, annual event something unique and memorable.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available and individual tickets will go on sale in early September.

Visit www.BrenhamHeritageMuseum.org for a full listing of sponsorship opportunities or email David Thomas at DThomas@BrenhamHeritageMuseum.org.

The mission of the Brenham Heritage Museum is to foster the history, art, culture, and humanities of the Brenham-Washington County, Texas region.

The museum continues to add new, innovative exhibits incorporating interactive technology to bring the stories of the past to life in modern, engaging ways.
