SUSPECTED DRUG DEALER ARRESTED IN EARLY MORNING RAID

  

An early morning raid by members of the Austin County Regional Special Response Team led to the arrest of an alleged drug dealer.

The Westside Narcotics Task Force had been investigating reports of drugs being distributed from a residence located in the 200 block of Paulus Street in Schulenburg.

This past Friday morning at 5am, the Special Response Team executed arrest and search warrants at the residence.

Officers seized cocaine, marijuana, U.S. currency, and firearms at the location.

36-year-old Alex Delgado was taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail in La Grange. 

He was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

The Schulenburg Police Department assisted with arrest and search warrant operation.
