HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANT

A Houston man was arrested Wednesday on an active warrant.
Brenham Police report that Wednesday afternoon at 5:40, Corporal Tina Bruno responded to the 2500 block of South Day Street in reference to a hit-and-run incident. Bernard Watt Norman, 55 of Houston, was placed under arrest for an active state jail felony warrant for Forgery Financial Instrument, Bond Forfeiture out of Jefferson County. Norman was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
