CUBETTES DEFEAT COLUMBUS IN HOME OPENER

The Brenham Cubettes won their home opener three sets to one over the Columbus Lady Cardinals last (Tuesday) night at the Brenham High School Gym.

Brenham won the first two sets by scores of 26-24 and 25-23, Columbus won the third set 25-18, but then the Cubettes came back and took the final set 25-20.

Aubrey Morrison led the offense with 12 kills, and added nine digs on defense. Antyiahna Lang finished with 11 kills. Lainie Bolcerek had a big game with 10 kills, 4 aces, and 3 blocks.

Logan Hayslip led the defense with 19 digs. Jordan Graham had a double-double, 10 digs and 17 assists.  Brinley Benson dished out 23 assists. 

Next up, Brenham will be taking part in the Waller Tournament, which opens up tomorrow (Thursday), and runs thru Saturday.
