BRENHAM PET ADOPTION CENTER PARTICIPATING IN ‘CLEAR THE SHELTERS’

Brenham Animal Services is once again taking part in the annual Clear the Shelters pet adoption campaign.

Since 2015, NBCUniversal Local’s Clear the Shelters initiative has helped over half a million pets find new homes in partnership with community animal shelters and rescues.

Pet adoptions of $35 are available until the end of August.  Adopted pets have up-to-date vaccines, are spayed/neutered and microchipped, and have received heartworm tests and treatment.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center’s big adoption event is set for Saturday, September 7th from noon to 5 p.m.  Brenham Animal Services will offer free pet adoptions, free microchipping, snow cones, a bounce house, and Touch-a-Truck with the City of Brenham Fire and Police Departments.

The adoption center’s full list of pets is available at www.petfinder.com.  More information about the Clear the Shelters campaign can be found at www.cleartheshelters.com.

KTEX-106’s Eilish and Cowboy Dave will be at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center for Clear the Shelters on September 7th, broadcasting live from the KTEX Country Cruiser.
