CUB FOOTBALL HOSTS PRESEASON BANQUET

Hundreds came out to show their support for the Brenham Cub Football Team as they hosted their annual pre-season banquet this past Saturday night at the Fireman’s Training Center.

The players and coaches for the varsity, JV, and freshman teams were introduced. Cub players Jordan Harvey, Jakoby Dixon, Andre Mojica, and Caleb Espinoza spoke to the crowd.

The event also featured a live auction, a silent auction, and a drawing.

The live auction raised $11,800 for the Cub Football Program. The items that drew the most money were two pairs of sideline passes, which are good for each of the 2024 Cub home football games. Houston Chemical and Broussard Energy each donated $4,000 in exchange for the passes.  

The meal was provided by Pioneer Smokehouse of Brenham.
