SOMERVILLE MAN ARRESTED SUNDAY FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION

  

A Somerville man was arrested Sunday charged with Marijuana possession.

Brenham Police report that Sunday night at 11:50, Officers initiated a traffic stop at the 1100 block of Industrial Blvd. A probable cause searched was conducted on the vehicle due to the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The driver, Malachi Joel Vela, 18 of Somerville, was found to be in possession of marijuana and tobacco. Vela was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County jail where he was booked for Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz and cited for Minor in Possession of Tobacco.
