RUN FOR THE YOUTH OF WASHINGTON CO. DONATES $95,750 TO BRENHAM ISD ATHLETICS
Washington County present Brenham ISD trustees
on Monday with a donation for $95,750. Each year,
the organization holds the Blue Bell Fun Run to raise
funding for Brenham ISD's junior high and high
school athletic programs.
Brenham ISD’s junior high and high school athletic programs received a major contribution by way of proceeds from the Blue Bell Fun Run.
Brenham ISD trustees received a donation on Monday from board members representing Run for the Youth of Washington County, the organization that puts on the Fun Run each spring. This year’s donation comes out to $95,750.
Joe Robertson, Board President for Run for the Youth of Washington County, recognized the board members and volunteers who are involved with organizing the event, which continues to grow every year.
Brenham School Board President Natalie Lange called the contribution “phenomenal”, saying that the organization’s commitment to the community is “unprecedented”.
The next Blue Bell Fun Run is scheduled for March 22, 2025.
